Rest restored, life renewed.

Sleep Disorders

Sleep disorders are problems with the timing, quality, or amount of sleep that cause daytime distress and difficulty functioning, and they are especially common among women. They both worsen mental health conditions like depression and anxiety and can also be a contributing cause of these illnesses.

Causes Of Sleep Disorders :

🩺 Medical & Biological Factors

Heart and lung disease, chronic pain, hormonal changes (menstruation, pregnancy, menopause), neurological conditions, and genetic vulnerability can trigger insomnia, sleep apnea, restless legs, or other sleep problems.

🏃‍♀️ Mental health and lifestyle:

Depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, shift work, irregular routines, caffeine, alcohol, and certain medications frequently disturb sleep; in fact, around half of insomnia cases are linked to depression, anxiety, or psychological stress.
